Visiting the Molecular Foundry

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory · 1 Cyclotron Road, Berkeley, CA

The Foundry sits at Berkeley Lab in the hills above UC Berkeley. To get on site you’ll need an LBNL badge, or a visitor pass plus a REAL ID. We arrange passes for expected visitors, but they can take several weeks, so please reach out well before your visit. Parking is scarce and permit-only, so take the Lab shuttle and ask the driver to drop you at the Foundry. If you drive, pick up a one-day permit at the Blackberry Gate.

We can also host meetings at the Kavli ENSI Seminar Hall, 101 Campbell Hall on the UC Berkeley campus, with no Lab badge or visitor pass needed. It’s marked on the map below.
